A longtime Parkdale, Oregon resident, Walsh focuses on family law and civil litigation

Catherine WalshTimmons Law, PC, is pleased to welcome Catherine Walsh as an Associate Attorney serving clients throughout the Columbia Gorge Region. Walsh is a trial attorney licensed in the state of Oregon. She focuses primarily on family law and civil litigation.

Walsh spent much of the last decade working as a judicial clerk in the Oregon Circuit Court system. There, she participated in all aspects of civil and criminal hearings and trials. She was raised in Vermont, and moved to Parkdale, Oregon, with her family when she was 17. She graduated from Hood River Valley High School and went on to graduate from the Oregon State University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in sociology. She returned to the east coast to study at Vermont Law School, where she graduated in 2004.

Catherine was the recipient of numerous fellowships, which helped her gain firsthand experience with families navigating challenging legal matters. She completed many internships with organizations, including Have Justice – Will Travel, Inc. The nonprofit works to end the generational cycle of abuse in rural families by providing mobile legal and other services to victims of domestic abuse.

Walsh currently lives in Parkdale with her two children, James and Meg. She’s a member of Gorge Roller Girls, the region’s sanctioned flat track roller derby team.
